Upload Addon
Admins can enable auction functionality by uploading and activating the Auction Addon from the System Addons section. The addon file can be uploaded from the Upload Addons section using file selection or drag-and-drop.
Path: Admin Panel > Settings > System Addons > Upload Addons
After uploading, the Auction Addon appears under Available Addons. Admins can activate it by enabling the toggle on the Auction card. Once activated, the auction features become available across the marketplace.
Enable Auction for Vendors
The admin can control whether vendors are allowed to run their own auctions. Under the Vendors tab in Business Setup, enabling the Active Auction For Vendor toggle lets vendors create auctions from their panel. Leave it off to keep auctions in-house. Click Save Information to apply.

Auction Configuration
Under the Auction tab in Business Setup, the admin sets the core rules for how auctions run.
Admins can now configure essential auction rules, including commission rates, bidder entry fees, auction visibility periods, expiration handling, and winner claim deadlines to create a flexible and controlled bidding experience.

Create Auction Product
The Auction Product Creation feature allows admins to create auction listings with all essential product information. The Basic Setup section includes product name, description, and thumbnail details.

The General Setup section allows admins to add categories, brands, item conditions, shipping details, and return policy.

The Auction Info section helps configure auction details such as starting price, bid increment, decrement limits, and auction schedule. The SEO Section allows admins to add meta titles, descriptions, and images to improve auction product visibility across search engines and social platforms.

Besides the admin, both the vendor and the user can also create an auction. If the auction is created by the admin, vendor, or customer, the respective creator will be responsible for managing the shipping process after the auction is completed.
Along with advanced auction configuration, the addon now supports AI-assisted auction listing creation. Users can generate auction titles and automatically pre-fill essential listing information with AI, helping them create professional auction listings faster and with less manual input.
Entry Fee (Customer Side)
On the storefront, customers browse auctions through a dedicated Auction section with Categories, Ending Soon, and Trending.
To place a bid on an auction with an entry fee enabled, the customer must first pay the entry fee.
Admins have full control over this feature by setting the auction entry fee percentage from the Auction Configuration panel.
It helps admins attract serious bidders, reduce unreliable participation, and generate additional revenue while keeping auctions more competitive and trustworthy.

Verify Entry Fee (If Offline)
When a customer pays the auction entry fee offline, the admin reviews and approves it under Entry Fee Payments.

Start Bidding
After the entry fee is paid, the customer can take part in the auction from the product page. The customer places a bid, and the system automatically records the bid activity while updating the current highest bid in real time. Customers can continue increasing their bids until the auction ends, ensuring a transparent and competitive bidding experience.

Auction Report
The admin can track auction performance from the Reports section. Admins can access auction reports to evaluate key performance metrics, identify successful auction trends, and gain better visibility into bidding activities. These insights help optimize auction strategies, improve customer participation, and maximize marketplace revenue.

Commission to Admin
When a vendor creates an auction, the vendor is responsible for completing the commission payment to the admin after the auction is completed.

The user who creates the auction listing will be responsible for managing its shipping. Whether the auction is created by the admin, vendor, or customer, the respective creator will handle the shipping arrangements
User App Updates
The user app home screen has been redesigned with a new Explore layout, dynamic categories, product tabs, and a product grid to improve product discovery and navigation.
The user app now features dedicated sections for Today’s Deal, New User Exclusive, Top Stores, and Auctions, to help customers easily explore offers, stores, and bidding opportunities.

There is an improvement in the add-on framework, allowing the eCommerce, Auction, and AI modules to work independently without affecting each other. This enhances system stability and makes future updates easier to manage.
There is also an enhancement in core services to support reuse across add-ons, making features like customers, sellers, catalog, tax, wallet, payments, and push notifications more consistent.
